Editorial Standards: How We Check Every Number on This Site
What counts as evidence here, how each page is checked before publication, and the rules that keep marketing and fact apart.
Sources we use, in order of weight
- The printed label, transcribed from the maker's own artwork
- The maker's order, shipping, refund and terms pages, read and dated
- Peer-reviewed studies found on PubMed, preferring randomized trials and systematic reviews
- Fact sheets and regulations from the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, the FDA and the eCFR
We do not use other affiliate sites, press releases or testimonials as evidence, though we report what they say when it matters to buyers.
How a page is checked
Every number on a page is compared with its source by a second reader before publication: label amounts against the artwork, prices against the order page, and claims against the linked study. Every PubMed reference is confirmed against the PubMed record itself, not copied from another site. Pages show the date of the last check.
Rules we hold ourselves to
- No invented ratings, reviewer names, lab results or certifications
- No claims that a supplement treats, cures or prevents disease
- Disagreements between marketing and label are always shown
- The commission we earn is disclosed on every page
- Errors are corrected and dated when found
How the editorial score works
Our score averages six criteria, each out of 10: dose fidelity to research, label disclosure, formulation and stability, refund terms, cost per active gram and marketing accuracy. MemoryFuel scores 6.3. The score rates the product and its sale, not your likely result.
